The NBA draft is a major event for many fans, and the fans are clamoring for players to make an impact.
Here are some of the players we’d love to see on draft night.1.
Draymond Green, PF, Warriors: Drayton Green is one of the most versatile guards in the league.
He’s a versatile scorer, an effective finisher, and can play either center or power forward.
Green’s ability to attack the rim and attack the paint will be an asset for the Warriors.2.
Josh Jackson, PG, Thunder: Jackson has a great deal of talent, but he’s a liability defensively and a bit inconsistent on offense.
If the Thunder have any chance of competing for the Eastern Conference Finals, Jackson will need to step it up.3.
Dario Saric, C, Thunder (via Pelicans): Saric is a fantastic defender and an outstanding offensive player.
If he can develop into a starter, he’ll be an All-Star caliber player.4.
Jordan Bell, PF/C, Mavericks: Bell is an all-around player, and he’s been a standout for the Mavericks since being drafted first overall in 2016.
He can be an effective rim protector and play a three-point shooting game, but his best skill is as a scorer.5.
Tyus Jones, PF-C, Lakers: Jones is an excellent rebounder who can also play power forward and can also score.6.
Jahlil Okafor, SG, Mavericks (via Clippers): Okafon is a versatile player who can guard multiple positions, but needs to improve his perimeter shooting and get stronger.7.
Isaiah Thomas, PF (via Nuggets): Thomas is a very skilled player who is a big reason why the Celtics won a title.
He could develop into an All Star if he continues to develop his game.8.
Kyle Singler, C/PF, Pacers: Singler has an NBA-ready offensive game, and is a talented defender.
He also has an outside shot, which makes him an ideal pick for a team looking to improve in the post.9.
Malik Monk, PF: Monk is an intriguing prospect who has a ton of potential.
He has great size and a good handle, and could develop as a shooting guard for the Bucks.10.
Markel Brown, PF and PG, Lakers (via Sixers): Brown could be a steal in this draft if he develops into a solid starter for a Lakers team that desperately needs one.11.
Jabari Parker, PF & C, Grizzlies: Parker has a lot of skill, but will need time to develop into the NBA’s best perimeter shooter.12.
Isaiah Cousins, PF; Jrue Holiday, PG; Isaiah Briscoe, SG; Emmanuel Mudiay, SF; and Deyonta Davis, PF1.
Kyrie Irving, C: The most highly touted prospect in the draft, Irving has a unique combination of length and skill that will be valuable to any team looking for a player with a similar ability.2, Kyle Lowry, PG: Lowry is a two-way player with good shooting ability, and his size and length could make him a perfect fit for any team.3, Joel Embiid, C; Jabari Brown, PG & C: Embiids length and offensive ability is extremely intriguing.4, Jordan Adams, SG: Adams is a power forward who can stretch the floor with his size, but the Sixers need a more consistent scorer.6, Deynta Davis Jr., PG: Davis Jr. has all the skills and could be an excellent starter for any franchise in the NBA.7, Malik Monk Jr., C; Trey Lyles, PF3, Isaiah Thomas Jr., SG: Thomas Jr. is an ideal scorer for any power forward or wing in the modern NBA.8, Jahlile Oka for Bucks: OkaFon is an explosive scorer who could be the perfect pick for any Bucks team looking at a player who has great length and a strong rebounding ability.9, Josh Jackson Jr., PF; Jordan Bell Jr., G; Isaiah Thomas Sr., C1, Malik Oka For Bucks, Jackson is a nice complement to the likes of Nerlens Noel and Jahlill Okaah for the first pick of the draft.2
