The studio, which opened last week in the city’s East Village, aims to offer athletes a place to work out with clients, get physical therapy and get healthy.
The training is supervised by certified personal trainers who work in a physical therapy lab, but the studio is open to anyone who wants to work in the studio.
For the gym-going exerciser, boxing is the perfect gym.
Keep Fit’s chief executive, Brian Loomis, said the gym offers boxing workouts as well as workouts for running and yoga.
He said the studio has seen some success with boxers and other athletes who come to keep the studio going.
“Boxers are really popular in the industry and it’s a great thing for the industry,” Mr. Loomish said.
“We are very interested in seeing how this new space will help boxers in terms of attracting new customers.”
A boxing trainer, who would only identify himself as Bob, said boxing is a great way to get fit and get the most out of your body.
“You can have the most energy you need to work and train,” he said.
Boxers train at the studio, while other boxing trainers have to train outside.
Bob, who is 30 years old, works in a boxing gym in Los Angeles, where he’s been boxing for seven years.
He works out twice a week, sometimes with boxer trainer Paul Larkin, and has about six clients.
Bob said boxing was the one exercise he didn’t want to stop working out for a while because it was the best way to burn fat and keep the body healthy.
Boxing workouts, boxing classes and boxing classes for kids are also available in the gym.
“A lot of people don’t know boxing is great for people with cardiovascular diseases, but boxing is one of the best things for people to do,” Mr, Loomiss said.
